A space I wish I'd had years ago

I'm Clare. For over ten years, meditation has been my own gateway back to stillness through

the noise, the overwhelm, and the moments when I couldn't hear my own heart.

I know what it feels like to sit down to meditate and have your mind sprint in seventeen directions.

I know the frustration of wanting peace and not being able to reach it alone.

That's why, for the past five years, I have been holding meditation spaces in person and now

online, for people who feel exactly the way I once did.

We live in the most overstimulated, overconnected, over-scheduled time in human history. Stress, anxiety, and burnout are not personal

failings; they are the natural response to an unnatural pace of life. Meditation, Breathwork, and Mindful Movement have been

humanity's answer to this for thousands of years. These practices changed my life. I am passionate about sharing them with you.

The Space Within is an intimate, live online class held every Friday evening, a dedicated hour to stop, breathe, and come gently home to yourself, wherever you are in the world.

No experience is needed. You do not need to be able to "empty your mind." Just show up exactly as you are.

Even online, you are held within a shared space of intention and stillness, supporting you to go deeper into your practice.

Ancient wisdom. A modern, busy life. A practice that actually works.

The Space Within draws on traditional Meditation Practices that have guided people toward stillness for thousands of years, practices you are unlikely to find in your average online class. Each session weaves together:

  • Gentle mindful movement to release tension held in the body, because a body that has softened makes space for the mind to follow

  • Kaya Sthiryam — the ancient practice of cultivating deep stillness in the body. As awareness deepens inward, the mind naturally, gently quietens. This is meditation arising through presence, not effort.

  • Antar Mouna — the practice of inner silence. A technique of witnessing the mind without fighting it, allowing thoughts to pass like clouds without pulling you with them.

  • Pranayama breathwork — the breath is the fastest route to calm your nervous system. We use it at the start of each session to arrive, settle, and release the day.

  • Oracle card for contemplation - a card offering a gentle reflection to carry through the evening and into the week.

  • A recording of each session, so the practice lives in your week, not just your Friday evenings.

Rather than forcing the mind to be quiet, we create the conditions where stillness can arise naturally. This is not about doing meditation correctly. It is about coming home to yourself.

What happens in a session?

Each Friday evening session runs for one hour and is gently held from beginning to end. Here is what you can expect:

  • We open the space together — a candle is lit, a moment to arrive and let the week begin to soften.

  • Gentle Mindful Hatha yoga — simple, accessible movement to release tension from the body. No experience or flexibility needed.

  • Pranayama breathwork — we settle the nervous system and begin to drop inward.

  • Kaya Sthiryam - you are gently guided through the practice. Clare will guide you all the way. You cannot get this wrong.

  • Oracle card reflection — a moment of contemplative stillness to close.

  • A gentle return — space to integrate before we close.

Your session recording is sent to you so you can return to it any time throughout the week.

All you need is: a quiet space, a yoga mat or comfortable chair, a blanket, and yourself. You may wish to create an altar and make this your sacred space with a candle, incense and crystals, anything that feels sacred to you.

You won't be meditating alone

One of the most powerful and often unexpected gifts of these sessions is the sense of community that forms.

Even through a screen, something real happens when a group of people gather with the shared intention of stillness. The collective energy is tangible. People who have joined tell me they feel held in a way that meditating alone doesn't offer.

Over the past five years, my in-person meditation community has grown into a beautiful circle of people who genuinely support one another.

The Space Within online is an extension of that community that you can belong to from anywhere in the world.

This is not a course you watch on your own. It is a live, guided, shared experience. You will see familiar faces week

after week. You will feel the difference.

Six weeks of guided practice, building gently and intentionally week by week. Each session combines Hatha yoga, Pranayama Breathwork, Kaya Sthiryam, and Guided Meditation.

You will receive a recording so you can continue your practice through the week.

  • Absolutely — in fact, many people who find their way to The Space Within are complete beginners, and they are just as welcome as those with an established practice.

    There is nothing to learn before you arrive and nothing to get right.

    Each session begins gently, I explain everything as we go, and you are guided from the very first breath to the very last.

    Many of my most committed students started with no experience at all and simply followed their curiosity.

    If you are new to meditation, this is honestly one of the most supportive places to begin.

  • This is exactly why most people come. Meditation is not about stopping thoughts; it is about learning to relate to them differently.

    The practices I use are specifically designed to help a busy, restless mind find its way to stillness over time.

  • A quiet space where you won't be disturbed.

    A yoga mat, blanket, cushion, you may wish to create an altar, light a candle, and some incense, and yourself.

    That is all.

  • The six weeks are just the beginning.

    Many students find that what opens up during The Space Within becomes something they want to nurture and grow, and there is always somewhere deeper to go with these practices.

    At the end of each course I share details of upcoming groups, deepening programmes and other offerings so you can continue your journey without losing the thread. Students who have been meditating with me for years tell me that each block brings something new — because you are always arriving as a slightly different version of yourself.

  • Absolutely. The Space Within is open to anyone, anywhere in the world. Many of my students join from outside the UK. Sessions are at 7:00 pm UK time every Friday.

    Many students join feeling overwhelmed and, over time, find these practices give them tools they can return to every day not just during class.
