Frequently Asked Questions

  • Holistic therapy is a gentle, whole‑person approach to wellbeing that supports your mind, body and energy. Rather than only focusing on one symptom, it looks at how you think, feel and live, and uses natural techniques such as Reiki, crystal therapy, reflexology, sound or meditation to bring you back into balance.

  • Holistic therapy can support you if you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, low in energy or disconnected from yourself. Many people find it helps them relax more deeply, sleep better, release emotional tension and feel calmer and more grounded in everyday life. It is not a replacement for medical care, but it can sit alongside it beautifully.

  • In a Reiki session you remain fully clothed and lie or sit comfortably while I gently place my hands either just above or lightly on the body. Reiki is a calming energy therapy that encourages your system to relax and rebalance. You may feel warmth, tingling, waves of energy or simply deep rest. Every experience is unique, and you are held safely throughout.

  • Crystal therapy uses the natural energy of crystals to support your own energy field. Specific crystals are placed on or around the body while you relax. Each crystal has its own vibration, and many people find this helps them release stress, clear stagnant energy, and feel lighter, clearer and more centred after a session.

  • No experience is needed at all. My meditation and sound sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already have a practice. I guide you gently through the process, and you are always free to rest, pause or adjust as you need to. Your only job is to get comfortable and receive.

  • This is completely individual. Some people feel a real shift after one or two sessions, while others choose to come regularly as part of their ongoing self‑care. We can talk together about what you are looking for, and you are always in control of how often you book.

  • No. Holistic therapies are complementary, which means they can sit alongside medical care but do not replace advice or treatment from a doctor or other healthcare professional. If you have any medical concerns, I always encourage you to speak to your GP or specialist as well.

  • Sessions are held in my peaceful therapy space in Tilston, Cheshire with some group events and workshops in local venues. To book, you can use my online booking system. If you’re unsure what to choose, we can arrange a short chat first.
